Warehouse AssociateSupport and assist in warehouse and storage processes and responsibilities.Essential duties include:Following company safety standards and reporting issues.Operating forklift to load and unload trucks.Stocking warehouse and assisting in inventory control processes.Filling buckets, drums, etc. for customer orders.Completing cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and yard.Turning on fuel pumps for customers that don't yet have access to pumps.Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Additional duties include:NoneSupervision of others:NoneWork environment:Typically work is performed in a warehouse or yard setting.Frequent work around equipment, machinery, and vehicles.Frequent work in dusty, wet, dirty environments and exposure to fuel and fuel fumes, oil, and grease.Frequent work in hot or cold environments.Physical demands:Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.Able to move about office setting to complete responsibilities.Able to move freely around work and customer sites.Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.Occasional use of phone, computer, and office equipment.Able to lift up to 75 lbs.Able to move drums up to 400 lbs.Travel:NegligibleKnowledge, skills, and abilities:Required:Valid driver's license.One or more years experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.Able to effectively multitask with a strong attention to detail.Able to obtain company forklift certification.Strong customer service skills.Preferred:Three or more years experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.Trade or technical school (certificate or diploma) in an applicable field.Other duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
