Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate will create a customer focus by accurately performing all warehousing duties assigned (pick/pack, ship, receive, and replenish) based on training/certification levels.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Maintain a safe and clean work environmentMust be able to use PC including but not limited to: Office, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, carrier websites, and google searchAdapt to change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfactionCommunicate effectively with co-workers and fellow employeesAdjust schedule to fluctuate work priorities, as neededRequired to report any safety incidents and/or moving violationsUses material handling equipment to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and/or work area(s)Must have the ability to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle or successfully complete in house powered industrial vehicle certification by end of probationary periodAbility to accurately pick outbound ordersVerify incoming material(s) by comparing physical quantities/part numbers to incoming paperworkOff load numerous trucks daily and verify to Bill of Ladings (Denote any damage/missing items)Required to participate in annual physical inventoriesMay be required to work at other remote facilitiesAny other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisorQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each ESSENTIAL DUTY satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education High School Diploma/GEDExperience Equivalent work experience is required,Language and Communication Skills The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in a one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts.Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Certifications Required None
