Warehouse AssociateTotal Talent Solutions is now hiring a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. The pay rate is $18.00 – $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday – Friday, either 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
This is a role with Encon Safety Products, a leading manufacturer of safety and protective equipment.We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will primarily focus on shipping activities while providing cross-functional support throughout the warehouse.Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, and experience working with ERP/MRP systems.Requirements:1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experienceForklift experience required (sit-down and stand-up preferred)Experience with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse softwareKnowledge of FedEx, UPS, LTL, and international shipping processesExperience with Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and shipping documentationBasic computer, math, and data entry skillsStrong attention to detail, organization, and safety awarenessAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse dutiesSteel-toed shoes requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamJob Duties:Process and prepare domestic and international shipmentsCreate shipping documents, labels, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and related paperworkLoad, unload, receive, and store incoming materials and merchandisePick, pack, stage, and ship customer orders accurately and efficientlyOperate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentVerify inventory, maintain accurate ERP records, and assist with inventory countsConsolidate freight and coordinate shipments with carriersInspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and discrepanciesMaintain shipping schedules and ensure timely order fulfillmentFollow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environmentCross-train in receiving, order picking, and general warehouse operations as neededBenefits:Weekly paySolid benefits – medical, dental, visionOptional 401(k)Join a team that works for you.
