Warehouse AssociateGreens - Houston, TX 77032Position Type Full Time Education Level None Travel Percentage None Category WarehouseDescriptionSelected candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the warehouse and store's on-site activities including, managing receipts, stocking and shipping of products, staging and delivering customer orders, and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.Responsibilities:Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies - HVAC.Stock the parts store with an appropriate amount of merchandise.Assist with inventory control and entering inventory into the software system.Delivers parts, supplies, equipment, and other HVAC related products to customer locations or job sites, as needed.File M/S's, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.File freight claims for damaged goods.Manage receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.Determine inventory levels; identify and dispose of excess and obsolete inventory and maintaining system inventory accuracy.Other duties may be assigned.QualificationsSkills Required:Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.Must complete an MVR.Must have good interpersonal and phone skills to communicate and assist inside sales personnel and customers.Load and unload trucks.Pull and put away equipment on pallets or boxes using a forklift.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.Education and/or Experience Required:High School Diploma or equivalent.3 - 5 years of proven forklift experience.1+ years of experience driving a 20' box truck with liftgate.
