Currently, we import, manufacture, and distribute over 7,000 Japanese foods, beverages, restaurant equipment and supplies.Location: Flower Mound, TexasHours: M-F: 8AM – 5PM; 1 hour lunch; OT may applyJob Responsibilities and DutiesCompletes door to door deliveries by driving company truck on assigned routeDocuments, records, and completes driver log when making deliveriesPicks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick listStacks and organizes warehouse palletsAssists receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely mannerMaintains organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and inventoryCoordinates with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customersMaintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent serviceParticipates in the weekly warehouse meetingsProvide logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hoursPerforms duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsAble to drive for a majority of the daily working hoursAble to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walkingAble to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequentlyAble to handle and move up to 165 pounds assisted frequentlyWorking ConditionsNoise Level: Loud while indoorsOther RequirementsConversational level English required; Business level English preferred;Conversational Japanese is a plusHas and maintains a valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving recordAble to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as neededMaintains a positive attitudeWorks efficiently independently and in a teamAdapts to frequent changes in assignments and workloadHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required1 year of driving/delivery experience required2-4 years of driving/delivery experience preferredKnowledge and SkillsDemonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detailPossesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.Has strong communications and interpersonal skillsDemonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety proceduresForklift training and/or certification preferredKnowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferredDisclaimersThis position description is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
