What You'll Do In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring products are received, processed, and shipped accurately and on time.
Responsibilities include:Receive incoming shipments and verify product accuracy against packing slipsInspect goods for damage and report discrepanciesPick, pack, and prepare customer orders and branch transfers for shipmentLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyLabel, stage, and organize outgoing shipmentsMaintain accurate inventory through proper handling and system updatesKeep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsComplete shipping/receiving paperwork with attention to detailCoordinate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflowPerform other general warehouse duties as neededRequirementsWhat You'll Bring If you take pride in hands-on work, value safety and teamwork, and want to grow with a company that invests in its people, we'd love to hear from you.You are 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to communicate clearly, both written and verballyBasic computer skills (email, data entry, simple navigation)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsWillingness to follow procedures and safety guidelinesValid NYS driver's license (must be maintained throughout employment)A commitment to uphold Haun values: Helpful, Humble, Heart-driven, and HonestPrior warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is a plus, but not requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbsAbility to operate production equipment, hand tools, and machinery safelyAbility to perform tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detailAbility to safely navigate the production areas, including stairs, platforms, and workstationsPerform work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive production environment including exposure to industrial conditions including heat, cold, noise, and varying temperaturesRequired PPE and adherence to strict safety proceduresHaun Welding Supply & Specialty Gases is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
