If this describes you and you're looking for a great career, look no further than Norfolk Iron & Metal!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Gain and apply knowledge of warehouse operations.Assist production through a basic understanding of warehouse processes.Crosstrain across multiple warehouse and production processes.Assist with cycle counts and manage inventory with strong attention to detail.Report damages and inventory discrepancies promptly.Prepare material for shipping, including palletizing, waterproofing, and banding.Maintain and clean tools, equipment and work and storage areas to meet safety standards.Other tasks as trained and qualified to do.Requirements for Success:Must be a team player, flexible, and willing to assist as needed.Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and proper use of PPE.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
