Warehouse Associate 2The Warehouse Associate 2 will perform tasks associated with shipping, receiving, and the material handling process at RealTruck, including receiving shipments, stocking, inventory control, picking, packing, staging orders and shipping products, primarily using powered industrial trucks.Core functions include:Prepare product for movement throughout the warehouse, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrappingOperate powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently, once certifiedPerform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisorAssemble component parts into kits; packages and labels kits; enters kit data into WMSPick and pack bulk and drop-ship inventory for shipment according to customer order; stages inventory for shipment; loads trailersUnload trailers; receives product, verifying accuracy against PO and packing slip in WMSScan palletized product wraps and labels according to customer requirements and loads pallets onto trailersReceives returned product; verifies warranty status; updates WMS; prepares product for disposal or return to stockTrains other employees; maintains a clean and safe workspace; other duties as assignedQualifications and requirements include:Highschool Diploma required6-12 months of related experience and or training required2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferredPrevious forklift experience requiredDriver's license preferredSkilled in the use of a forklift, pallet jack, tape gunBasic computer skillsSkilled in the operation of a computer with emphasis on WMS and MS OfficeAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to count and perform basic mathAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceCompetencies include:Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected eventsFollows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
