Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Assistant  This mid-entry level role supports the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day safety administration, documentation, and warehouse operational support, while also assisting HR with on boarding, staffing, and general administrative needs. This is a great fit for someone who is organized, bilingual, and comfortable moving between administrative tasks and warehouse-floor responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct routine safety inspections and coordinate corrective actions, including sourcing any needed supplies or equipment.
• Lead weekly tailgate safety meetings and support ongoing safety training and compliance documentation.
• Monitor warehouse compliance with safety policies, PPE requirements, and SDS/signage standards through regular walkthroughs.
• Maintain organized safety and equipment inspection records, following up on gaps or missing documentation as needed.

HR & Onboarding Support

• Prepare and lead new employee/temp orientation, including agency onboarding paperwork, walkthroughs, and related filing.
• Track time for temporary staff and support general HR administrative needs.
• Assist with recruiting by sourcing candidates through Indeed and staffing agency partners.

Warehouse & Operational Support

• Maintain organized shipping, receiving, inventory, equipment, and warehouse records.
• Assist with data entry, reports, spreadsheets, metrics, and document filing.
• Support receiving, inventory, picking, staging, shipping, and order processing as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts, warehouse organization, special projects, and process improvements.
• Provide additional operational coverage based on workload and staffing needs.

Office & Facilities Support

• Place orders for office and kitchen supplies.
• Help coordinate company events, including food/catering orders.
