Warehouse AssistantWarrior a rig equipment manufacturing company specializing in top drives and automated pipe handling equipment.Location: Springtown, TXThe Warehouse Assistant Pipeline is designed to build a talent pool for future Warehouse Assistant opportunities supporting the Asset Reliability Center (ARC), a rig equipment manufacturing facility specializing in top drives and automated pipe handling equipment.Warehouse Assistants perform a variety of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling functions that support manufacturing and remanufacturing operations. Candidates will work independently and collaboratively to ensure materials are received, stored, transported, and shipped accurately while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming materials and inventory.Pick, stage, package, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.Prepare domestic and international shipments.Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.Perform shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle count activities.Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing ERP or warehouse management systems.Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate freight as needed.Maintain material traceability throughout manufacturing operations.Follow warehouse procedures, work instructions, and company safety standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Collaborate with production, logistics, vendors, customers, and internal departments.Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Valid state-issued driver's license with the ability to meet company driving requirements.Minimum one (1) year of stable work history or military service.At least one year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, logistics, or related experience.Basic computer skills with the ability to learn ERP or inventory management systems.Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Three or more years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.Experience with shipping and receiving operations.Previous experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.Knowledge of warehouse inventory processes and material traceability.Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.Work Conditions:This position requires the person to work in both an office and remanufacture warehouse facility environment. The position must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties.
The typical work environment will be in the shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles. Also must be able to work closely with others and under deadlines including time-sensitive response situations and be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days; and occasionally nights, weekends and holidays.
