Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving: Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments and efficiently handle inbound material receiving and put-away.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull, prepare, and securely package orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Safely rotate yard stock and move heavy materials throughout the facility using a forklift.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all work orders, receiving documents, and inventory paperwork.
- Teamwork & Service: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure branch success and deliver excellent customer service.
- Scanner Experience: Proven ability to use handheld scanners for inventory tracking and order pulling.
- Forklift Operations: Practical experience operating both sitting and standing forklifts.
- Packaging: Experience properly securing, wrapping, and preparing materials for transit.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or industrial yard position (experience with building materials is a major plus!)
- Physical Ability: Able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) on occasion.
- Basic Skills: Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions accurately.
- Flexibility: Must be dependable and available to work overtime as business demands require.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
