Clothing Warehouse Associate
The Clothing Warehouse Associate supports daily operations in a fast-paced apparel warehouse by receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and preparing clothing items for shipment while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack apparel orders (shirts, pants, hoodies, accessories) by style, size, color, and SKU
- Inspect garments for defects (stains, tears, incorrect tags), and separate damaged items
- Tag, label, and re-bag clothing as needed (hang tags, barcodes, poly bags, size stickers)
- Sort and stage orders by route/carrier and prepare cartons for shipping
- Assist with receiving: unloading, counting, and putting away incoming inventory
- Fold, organize, and rework merchandise to meet customer/brand presentation standards
- Keep work area clean and organized (tables, racks, shelves), follow 5S housekeeping
- Follow all safety rules and report inventory discrepancies or issues to a lead/supervisor
Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to work in a production/warehouse environment with daily volume goals
- Strong attention to detail (correct size/color/style selection and accurate counts)
- Basic computer or scanner skills (RF scanner experience is a plus)
- Teamwork, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
- Apparel/fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required (training provided)
Physical Demands / Work Environment
- Standing and walking for most of the shift
- Repetitive hand motions (folding, packing, labeling)
- Lifting/carrying boxes as needed (typically light to moderate weights)
- Warehouse environment may include noise, temperature changes, and fast-paced deadlines
Schedule / Pay (Optional Lines You Can Add)
- Schedule: Mon–Fri (weekends as needed), full-time hours
- Pay: Competitive hourly pay + overtime when available
