The Original Vincent’s, a historic family-owned Italian-American restaurant in the heart of Little Italy, is looking for an experienced and personable Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment while providing warm, professional service to both neighborhood regulars and visitors from around the world.
- Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Restaurant open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12pm-10pm; Open everyday September 17-27 for the Feast of San Gennaro
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service throughout the guest’s dining experience
- Greet guests, explain menu items, and accurately take food and beverage orders
- Enter orders accurately and communicate effectively with the kitchen and other members of the service team.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain clean and organized tables and work areas
- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere consistent with the restaurant’s long-standing Little Italy tradition
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to accurately handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work well as part of a team
