VP, Strategic Finance & FP&A

A Venture Capital Firm based in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join their Strategic Finance & FP&A team as Vice President.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assess the impact of operational initiatives, backlog dynamics, and sales and marketing performance.
• Partner closely with the CFO to deliver both proactive and ad hoc analysis supporting an $80M+ budget and $7M+ EBITDA objectives.
• Serve as a key point of contact with the firm’s private equity sponsor, providing regular updates on financial performance and strategic priorities.
• Work with operations and marketing teams to deliver data-driven insights aimed at improving efficiency and supporting growth.
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and manage ongoing monthly forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or a related function.
• Prior experience outside of Financial Services preferred (e.g., Construction, Manufacturing, or Business Services).
• Strong financial modeling capabilities with the ability to independently build complex, integrated models from the ground up.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment with a strong emphasis on analytical rigor.
