Job Summary

As the Vice President of Strategic Pricing, you will set the vision and lead a high‑performing pricing function, driving consistency, discipline, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role is critical in shaping and executing pricing strategies that support profitable growth while ensuring alignment with state and federal requirements. Working cross‑functionally, the VP will translate market dynamics, client needs, and operational considerations into thoughtful pricing approaches that are competitive, executable, and aligned with enterprise objectives. You will play a key role in positioning Acentra Health for success in new and existing markets, strengthening our ability to deliver value‑driven solutions and maintain a differentiated position in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead development of complex cost models, pricing strategies, and supporting narratives for RFP responses; drive pricing reviews and advise senior leadership on risks, opportunities, and profitability.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end estimating process to ensure accurate, competitive pricing; ensure models reflect true delivery costs across functions and incorporate any capital investment requirements.
  • Establish and continuously improve pricing frameworks, methodologies, and governance across multiple lines of business.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, sales, product, finance, legal, compliance, and HR to develop scalable, market‑aligned pricing solutions.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the pricing team, promoting a high‑performance culture and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver executive‑level presentations on pricing strategy, deal economics, risk assessment, and operational considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal estimating systems, disclosure requirements, proposal standards, and applicable government regulations.
  • Support business development efforts, including client discussions and negotiations related to pricing and financial constructs.
  • Travel up to ~20% as required.
  • Comply with all corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, or a related field preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading pricing and estimating functions within a government contracting environment (professional services and technology solutions).
  • Demonstrated success leading pricing strategy and execution for Federal RFPs and contract awards.
  • Deep experience pricing technology‑enabled solutions, including SaaS, COTS, custom development, and transition/takeover efforts.
  • Expert knowledge of Federal contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS, as well as contract structures, terms and conditions, and proposal financials.
  • Proven ability to develop competitive pricing strategies across contract types, including Cost‑Plus, T&M, FFP, PMPM, and other unit‑based models.
  • Strong leadership and cross‑functional influence, with a track record of aligning stakeholders across operations, finance, business development, and delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategic pricing initiatives that drive growth and margin expansion.
  • Hands‑on, execution‑oriented leader with the ability to take initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Experience developing and/or optimizing licensing and monetization models.
  • Experience partnering with small and disadvantaged businesses in support of federal contracting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Experience in healthcare and technology sectors, with an understanding of payer, provider, and government health programs preferred.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including the ability to synthesize large datasets and translate insights into actionable pricing strategies and models.
  • Experience leveraging data visualization and pricing/financial tools (e.g., Excel modeling, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of market intelligence, competitive analysis, and price‑to‑win methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive decision‑making in ambiguous or high‑pressure environments.
  • Experience supporting capture strategy and win strategy development in partnership with business development teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear business insights for non‑financial audiences.

Compensation

Pay Range: USD $198,900.00 - USD $248,600.00 /Yr.

Experience in Lieu of Degree

For non‑clinical roles, or when not required by the contract specifically, the Company acknowledges that practical, hands‑on experience can provide skills and competencies equivalent to formal education. As such, in cases where a Bachelor's degree may be required, the Company will accept a minimum of six (6) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. In instances where the candidate has an Associate's degree, the Company will accept a minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
