Position Overview
HireCare Services - Massachusetts is seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Business Development to join our growing nursing home organization in the Boston, Massachusetts area. As a strategic leader, you will provide oversight and direction to admissions, census development, marketing, referral relationships, and overall business growth across multiple skilled nursing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee admissions, marketing, and census development strategies across all assigned facilities
- Develop and implement individualized business development plans for each facility
- Establish measurable census, referral, conversion, and occupancy goals
- Lead, support, and hold facility admissions and marketing teams accountable for performance
- Analyze referral patterns, market conditions, competitors, hospital relationships, and census trends
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase short-term rehabilitation and long-term care admissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of business development, admissions, marketing, or census-growth experience within skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, or a related healthcare setting
- Multi-facility or regional leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of the skilled nursing admissions process, hospital referral networks, and competitive healthcare markets
- Demonstrated success increasing census and developing high-value referral relationships
