We are seeking a Vice President of Housing Development to lead the growth of our affordable housing portfolio through new construction, acquisitions, preservation, and redevelopment initiatives. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead affordable housing developments from concept through stabilization
• Structure and close complex financing transactions utilizing LIHTC , tax-exempt bonds, HUD financing, and other public/private funding sources
• Identify, evaluate, and acquire new development opportunities
• Direct new construction, redevelopment, recapitalization, and preservation initiatives
• Build relationships with investors, lenders, municipalities, housing finance agencies, architects, engineers, contractors, and development partners
• Oversee underwriting, financial modeling, pro formas, due diligence, and project feasibility
• Guide zoning, entitlement, municipal approvals, and financing applications
• Manage development timelines, budgets, and project execution
• Oversee affordable assisted living asset management initiatives
• Help establish scalable processes and infrastructure for continued portfolio growth

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Investments, or related field
• 5-10+ years of affordable housing development experience
• Proven success structuring Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions
• Experience with layered financing, tax-exempt bonds, and public funding sources
• Knowledge of HUD affordable housing programs , including Section 202 and RAD conversions, is highly preferred
• Strong financial underwriting and real estate analysis skills
• Experience leading multiple projects through acquisition, financing, closing, construction, and stabilization
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
