Overview
At Schwab, you’ll provide financial guidance to existing clients, building lasting relationships and growing your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. The role focuses on wealth management and financial planning advice.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive wealth management services, including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning. Maintain client relationships by applying focused communication strategies and ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license.
- A FINRA Series 66 (or 63/65) license and a Life & Health Insurance license required during tenure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client relationships through targeted communication.
- Strong candidates will learn to leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, market knowledge, and inspire client action toward achieving goals.
- Openness to manage wealth in areas such as retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending, insurance & risk, and estate planning.
- Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve.
- Passion for community engagement and educating clients about market conditions and sound investing principles.
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while advancing professional development in Wealth Management.
Compliance Requirements
Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system, remain in good standing, and complete required background checks and registration processes.
