With a wide range of services and proactive approaches to care, Concentra colleagues provide exceptional service to employers and exceptional care to their employees.The Vice President of Information Technology Finance is responsible for the full financial lifecycle of our technology department, including end-to-end purchasing, software/hardware procurement, and vendor contract administration. You will serve as the primary link between IT, Finance, and Legal to optimize technology investments and lead the administrative workflows of the IT Finance and Procurement areas.
Responsibilities
Oversees all IT financial functions such as strategic analysis, operational planning, capital planning, budgeting, reporting, and controlsOversees the entire IT purchasing workflow, from initial requisition to final invoice approvalPartner with Legal to review, finalize, and store Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs).Track IT asset inventories to ensure the company only pays for active software licenses and hardware maintenanceEnsures comprehensive and complete analysis of capital versus expense, capitalization of internal software development activities, IT resource allocations, and project-specific ROI's.Oversees the financial tracking of large IT projects and major strategic initiativesParticipates in ongoing digital transformation projects by partnering with IT and business leadershipParticipate in M&A activities and understand the overall financial impact and synergies to Concentra’s current IT processes and support
Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Accounting or Finance Degree must be from an accredited college or university.Education Details: Certifications and/or Licenses: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred10 years’ experience in budgeting, financial planning and forecasting, and financial analysis, with minimum of 5 years in a leadership role3-5 years' experience with an IT organizationJob-Related Skills/CompetenciesConcentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative and FlexibilityAbility to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutionsOutstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalismThe ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policiesDirect experience driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisSuperior proficiency with finance applications including Excel and PowerPointSuperior proficiency with financial applications including Hyperion and EssbasSolid understanding of accounting and how planning interacts with general accounting principlesProficiency in financial management of procurement activities including workflows and controlsProven leadership and managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to organize and complete multiple tasks and meet deadlinesThis job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretionand secure information management
