VP, Enterprise ProcurementWhat you will be doing:The Vice President, Enterprise Procurement is responsible for leading and executing a unified procurement strategy across all business units at Premier. This role ensures alignment of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations with enterprise priorities, driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation.This role operates as an enterprise integrator, partnering across all business segments to standardize procurement practices and maximize Premier’s scale and supplier relationships. This role will be responsible for driving measurable value creation (cost savings, efficiency, risk mitigation). This role will report directly to the CFO.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Procurement Strategy & Alignment – 30%Lead enterprise procurement strategy across all business unitsAlign sourcing priorities with business and financial goalsDrive enterprise spend visibility and optimizationStrategic Sourcing & Supplier Management – 25%Lead enterprise sourcing and contracting processesManage supplier relationships and performanceExecute high-value negotiationsGovernance, Risk & Compliance – 20%Establish procurement policies and controlEnsure regulatory and contractual complianceLead supplier risk managementOperations & Digital Enablement – 15%Implement procurement tools and systemsDrive process standardization and efficiencyDevelop analytics and reporting capabilitiesLeadership & Stakeholder Engagement – 10%Partner with executive and business unit leadersLead procurement organizationInfluence of enterprise decision-making​Required QualificationsWork Experience:Years of Applicable Experience - 12 or more yearsEducation:Bachelors (Required)Preferred QualificationsSkills:Uncompromised commitment to operate in an ethical and compliant mannerAbility to build relationships to partner with the business and work with various levels of internal and external constituencies, such as top leaders and key external partnersStrong financial and business acumenSuperior communication skills, including verbal, oral and through presentationsResults and continuous improvement-oriented; ability to anticipate and plan, to drive policy and process initiatives and lead changes with a strategic global mindsetHigh quality threshold with ability to understand details and formalize executive-level summarizationStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach to solutioning and collaborative resolution; strong follow-throughAdept at leveraging technology and analytics to improve internal audit effectivenessAbility to work in a challenging environment with multiple, changing, and competing prioritiesStrong team orientation, and ability to fit in with Premier’s cultureExperience:Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in related functionDemonstrated vendor/partner negotiation experience and measurable cost savings.Proven Experience on the execution of a centralized procurement transformationChange management experienceEducation:Master’s degree in business or related fieldAdditional Job Requirements:Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time Be adaptive and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines Attention to detail Operate computer programs and software Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats.   Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or the public) Making independent decisions Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions Working Conditions: Air conditioned office spaceTravel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the USPhysical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time.

Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $205,000 - $380,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
