Join a leading trading and investment platform in a senior leadership role overseeing the full operational lifecycle of private credit investments. This position will play a critical role in transaction execution, portfolio oversight, operational controls, and the continued buildout of a growing credit platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Private Credit Operations: Lead end-to-end operational support across private credit investments, including direct lending, CLOs, syndicated loans, and other credit strategies.
  • Transaction Execution & Settlement: Partner with Investment, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and external counterparties to ensure timely and accurate deal closings, funding, and settlement.
  • Agent & Administrator Management: Serve as a primary liaison with fund administrators, agents, custodians, and counterparties to manage settlement pipelines, resolve breaks, and minimize funding delays.
  • Trade & Loan Processing: Oversee trade capture, settlements, internal transfers, fund-level KYC, and ongoing loan activity using platforms such as ClearPar, Loan IQ, WSO, and IHS Markit.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Supervise daily cash and position reconciliations, investment onboarding, corporate actions, loan documentation, and administrator workflows to maintain accurate books and records.
  • Controls & Governance: Ensure transaction documentation is properly executed and maintained in accordance with LSTA/LMA standards, internal policies, and operational controls.
  • Financial Reporting Support: Partner with Finance and Fund Accounting on quarterly closes, annual audits, data validation, and investment-level reporting.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate workflows, strengthen controls, improve data integrity, and build scalable infrastructure as the private credit platform grows.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Serve as a senior operational partner to investment and business leadership while helping establish best practices and enhance the firm's broader credit operations framework.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10–20 years of credit operations experience, ideally within a private credit fund, alternative asset manager, hedge fund, or other sophisticated investment platform.
  • Private Credit Expertise: Significant experience with direct lending, CLOs, syndicated loans, or related private credit strategies.
  • Transaction Knowledge: Strong understanding of the complete loan lifecycle, including trade execution, funding, settlement, amendments, corporate actions, and ongoing portfolio administration.
  • Industry Systems: Hands-on experience with platforms such as ClearPar, Loan IQ, WSO, IHS Markit, or similar credit and loan operations systems.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and data management capabilities with experience improving workflows through technology and automation.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to take ownership of complex operational processes, manage external service providers, and partner effectively with senior investment professionals.
  • Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.

Compensation & Work Arrangement:

  • Total Compensation: $250,000–$350,000, with potential flexibility up to approximately $400,000 for the right candidate.
  • Location: Midtown New York City.
