VP, Clinical OperationsWe are partnering with a rapidly growing national healthcare organization that is expanding its footprint in occupational health services. As part of this growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced clinical leader to step into a high-impact VP role overseeing multiple onsite clinics.This is an excellent opportunity for an occupational health professional—ideally a Registered Nurse who has progressed into executive leadership and earned an MBA—to influence strategy, drive performance, and shape clinical excellence across a region.Ideally the VP, Clinical Operations will be based in Indiana or Tennessee. Our client is open to candidates residing in other states who are willing to travel.Position SummaryThe Regional Vice President (VP) of Clinical Operations will provide strategic leadership and oversight for occupational health clinical operations across a designated region.

This executive role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compliant healthcare services across multiple onsite clinic locations.The VP will partner closely with internal leadership and client stakeholders to drive operational excellence, improve clinical outcomes, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This role is ideal for a clinical leader with an occupational health background—preferably a registered nurse who has advanced into executive leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and execute regional strategies to enhance clinical operations and achieve organizational goalsAlign clinical programs with company objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirementsChampion operational excellence, patient care quality, and regional growth initiativesOperational OversightOversee daily operations of multiple onsite occupational health clinicsStandardize clinical workflows, optimize staffing models, and improve care delivery processesEnsure consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and clinical protocolsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teamsFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvementSupport leadership development, succession planning, and staff retention strategiesQuality & Performance ImprovementDrive quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, safety, and service excellenceAnalyze clinical and operational data to identify trends and implement improvementsEnsure adherence to evidence-based practices and continuous optimization of care modelsClient PartnershipBuild and maintain strong relationships with client organizationsServe as a strategic partner to clients, aligning services with their workforce health goalsAddress client feedback proactively and ensure high satisfaction levelsFinancial & Business ManagementOversee regional budgets, financial performance, and cost managementImplement strategies to improve profitability while maintaining high-quality careMonitor key performance indicators and adjust operations to meet financial targetsRegulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare and occupational health regulationsMaintain readiness for audits and regulatory reviewsStay current on industry regulations and adjust practices accordinglyReporting & CommunicationProvide regular updates to executive leadership on operational performance and key metricsCommunicate effectively across clinical teams, corporate leadership, and client stakeholdersRequired Skills & KnowledgeDeep understanding of occupational health practices and regulatory requirementsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to manage multi-site clinical operationsFinancial acumen, including budgeting and performance managementData-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency in healthcare systems and operational technologiesQualifications & ExperienceRegistered Nurse (RN) strongly preferred, with progressive leadership experienceMBA or other advanced degree highly preferredBachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field requiredMinimum of 10+ years of healthcare operations experienceAt least 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple locationsRequired: Occupational health experienceDemonstrated success leading clinical teams within complex, multi-site environmentsAbility to travel regionally (Indiana and Tennessee markets)Additional InformationCompensation commensurate with experience, PLUS Bonus.This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-growing organization, shaping the future of occupational health delivery while leading high-performing clinical teams across a dynamic region.
