Volunteer Services Coordinator

To enhance patient support services, the part-time Volunteer Services Coordinator will manage volunteer recruitment and training, oversee volunteer activities, and coordinate the Pets at Duke program, primarily onsite at the Duke Cancer Center in Durham, NC, with occasional remote work options. Key responsibilities Coordinate the recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers for various oncology services Develop and implement new programs and operational policies for volunteer services and Pets at Duke Serve as a liaison with medical staff and community organizations to promote volunteer opportunities and support services Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field One year of experience in counseling, teaching, or volunteer services, or a related field A master's degree in a relevant field may substitute for the required experience
