Remote Full Time Business and Financial Operations Occupations

Be the first person a new Voices of Variety volunteer meets, and make sure they land somewhere they matter.

What You'll Do

• Collect and process volunteer applications

• Interview new volunteers to identify their interests, skills and availability

• Organize required documents and screening paperwork

• Match each person to the opportunity where they can make the greatest impact

• Follow up so nobody who volunteered is ever left waiting

Who This Is For

HR professionals, recruiters, volunteer managers, administrators, customer service professionals and warm, organized people who are good with others.

Time Commitment

Ongoing. 3 to 6 hours per week. Chicago preferred; much of the work can be done remotely.

Why It Matters

Most volunteers who quit never actually quit — nobody got back to them. This role fixes that.

About Voices of Variety

Voices of Variety (VOV) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 by Jasen Brown. Our work is prevention. We create positive outlets — sports, music, the skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, adventure and community service — so that violence and crime never get their opening. Every volunteer here is a Builder, a Protector or a Transformer. Bring what you already have.
