As Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in welcoming and supporting new volunteers, coordinating event participation, and helping strengthen connections within our rescue community. You’ll also have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table and help expand our volunteer program through creative recruitment efforts.
- Review and approve volunteer applications
- Send welcome emails and provide access to the volunteer Facebook group
- Train and onboard new volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer sign-ups for events
- Collaborate with the Events Team to understand volunteer needs
- Enthusiastic, organized, and enjoys working with people
- Comfortable using tools like Google Docs and Excel
