We provide free career coaching services through a team of passionate volunteers committed to making a positive impact in our community.
Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and professional individuals to serve as Volunteer Career Coaches. In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients to provide guidance on career exploration, resume development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and goal setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual career coaching sessions with clients.
- Assist clients with resume and cover letter development.
- Provide interview preparation and professional communication coaching.
- Help clients identify career goals and create action plans.
- Offer encouragement, accountability, and professional support.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies.
- Participate in occasional team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping others succeed professionally.
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
- Experience in career coaching, human resources, education, recruiting, workforce development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to conduct meetings virtually using video conferencing tools.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
