To maintain and optimize a distributed cloud-based voice platform, the full-time VoIP Engineer will manage SIP/RTP infrastructure, troubleshoot VoIP-related issues, and collaborate with engineering teams, with the option to work remotely, in-office, or in a hybrid setting. Key responsibilities Grow and manage a distributed cloud-based VoIP platform Optimize and troubleshoot FreeSWITCH and Kamailio configurations for performance and reliability Monitor VoIP network performance and implement solutions to enhance quality and efficiency Required qualifications Previous experience as a VoIP network engineer Experience with VoIP applications such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, and RTPengine Deep understanding of TCP/IP networks and related protocols (SIP, RTP, etc.) Programming experience with a major language such as Go, Java, or C Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible
