DESCRIPTION: Southeastern Regional is seeking a vocational paraprofessional with experience in the following industries only:
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
OUR STUDENTS: Southeastern is a diverse, multicultural vocational technical high school that serves over 1,600 students from the City of Brockton and eight surrounding towns. Our students balance the rigors of a comprehensive academic course of study with technical skills training across more than 20 career majors. Upon graduation, our students are prepared for college, career, or additional technical training.
COMPENSATION : Paraprofessionals are school-year employees and are paid in 21 equal installments from September to June, or from the initial start date to the end date.

- Diesel Mechanic (or experience with diesel engines, repairs, marine mechanic, etc.)
- Automotive Mechanic (or experience with automotive engines, repairs, marine mechanic, etc.)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Professional and reliable
- Proficient in safely operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to the diesel mechanic or automotive industry
- Proficient in the Diesel mechanic (preferred), Automotive mechanic, or Marine mechanic industries
- Reliable/Dependable
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and carry out initiatives as assigned by your supervisor(s)
- Ability to be flexible with job assignments and performance responsibilities
- Ability to be at their assigned post from 7 am to 3 pm, daily
- School calendar is from September 1-June 30
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Trade experience
- Diesel mechanic experience preferred
- ASE Diesel certifications
