Providing ongoing Systems Administration support, the full-time VMware Systems Administrator will manage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and connectivity components for VMware environments while working remotely. Key responsibilities Lead Systems Administration efforts, ensuring alignment of systems design with corporate business requirements Provide infrastructure leadership and consult on complex issues across the organization Design and recommend high-availability VMware solutions and develop migration strategies for VMware environments Required qualifications BA/BS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Senior-level expertise in VMware systems administration and enterprise infrastructure design Experience with Microsoft Server and Linux Servers, including clustering Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability in cloud environments such as Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure Ability to work with technical teams and advise on complex, business-critical issues
