Role Overview

We are seeking a VMware & Cloud Support Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise virtualization environments using VMware technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The candidate will ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability across hybrid infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, clusters, resource pools, DRS, HA, and vMotion.
• Support AWS, Azure, or GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot virtualization and cloud infrastructure incidents.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization.
• Support backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik and disaster recovery operations.
• Perform patching, security hardening, access management, and compliance activities.
• Automate infrastructure operations using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Terraform.
• Maintain SOPs, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Networking, Security, and Application teams.

Required Skills

1. VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere administration.
2. AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud support.
3. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.
4. Backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, or Rubrik).
5. PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
6. ITIL processes and enterprise infrastructure troubleshooting.

Preferred Certifications

• VMware VCP (Data Center Virtualization or Network Virtualization).
• AWS or Azure Associate Certification.
• CompTIA Cloud+, Network+, or Security+.
• ITIL Foundation.

Experience Requirements

• 2–6 years of hands-on VMware virtualization experience.
• 1–4 years of cloud infrastructure support experience.
• Experience in enterprise IT support or infrastructure operations.
