Under the direction of the Administrator I, the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Analyst II provides analytical and technical support for the program's administrated by the Filing Division, Filing Services Bureau (FSB), Correspondence, Analysis, Support, and Education Section (CASES) and provides customer service and training to our internal and external customers and community partners. This training may need to be delivered in person or through a virtual platform. The training may be in a group setting. Our customers and partners include the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (VITA/TCE) Program, American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), community organizations, FSB public service staff, and our Internal VITA volunteer base. In carrying out these responsibilities, the incumbent will be expected to model appropriate behavior for others, strive for continuous improvement in the workplace, work cooperatively with others, communicate clearly, accurately, and promptly, and treat everyone with fairness, honesty, courtesy, and respect.

Working Conditions
- This position requires 4 or more days in the office per week. It is designated office-centered and may be eligible for some remote work based on departmental guidelines and operational need.
