An Insight Global client is seeking to hire talented VFX Artists for a fully remote contract opportunity!
Role & Responsibilities
- Role Focus: This is a VFX specialist position, not a motion designer role. Candidates must have hands‑on experience creating visual effects for film or AAA gaming.
- Objective: Enhance videos—primarily landscapes or subjects—with semi‑realistic, enriching visual effects.
- Creative Direction: Inspired by Higgs‑Field style effects (e.g., motion wraps, dynamic elements around hands) to add depth and energy to footage.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a VFX Artist with an excellent portfolio displaying previous work.
- Skilled in tools such as Houdini, Nuke, Maya, and Adobe After Effects.
- Skilled in creating actual motion effects and animation (vs matte painting, green‑screen replacement, reflection removal, etc.).
- Motion Graphics experience such as creating animated titles, lower thirds, infographics, and other dynamic elements for video projects.
- Strong understanding of compositing, keyframing, and animation principles.
Highly Desired Experience
- Previous experience working on action and fantasy films (e.g., Marvel movies) and/or DC comic movies (Batman, Superman, etc.).
- Previous experience working on AAA games.
