Role Overview
Visual Design professionals apply their aesthetic and brand-experience to shape and evaluate AI-generated visual storytelling, brand assets, and professional communications. You will create and refine prompts, assess model outputs for clarity and brand fit, and help improve how large language models handle visual and design-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Advance the creative capabilities of LLMs in visual storytelling, brand design, and professional communication.
- Develop domain-specific prompts and inputs to elicit high-quality visual and brand-relevant outputs.
- Evaluate, annotate, and provide qualitative feedback on LLM responses and visual outputs.
- Conduct independent research on topics that inform prompt design and evaluation, using AI tools as an aide.
- Learn and apply new skills across design and AI disciplines while contributing to iterative model improvements.
- Placement into projects will depend on project availability.
- Bachelor''s degree required.
- At least 2+ years of work experience in design.
- Previous full-time experience in roles such as brand designer, product designer, digital designer, visual designer, creative director, or art director.
- A design portfolio that demonstrates your work and visual judgment.
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously as part of a distributed team and in collaboration with AI research partners.
- A conviction that your creative insight can exceed current AI at visualizing and explaining business concepts.
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute across multiple disciplines involving design and AI.
- Location: Remote, work independently from anywhere.
- Employment type: PART_TIME.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, asynchronous work, with no minimum commitment to hours.
- Project placement depends on availability of suitable projects.
Up to $120/hr (depending on the project)
