- Facilitate student learning by teaching courses and programs in accordance with DeVry University requirements
- Develop course syllabi and lesson plans and apply teaching techniques to achieve course and programmatic objectives
- Develop and provide approved course syllabi including terminal course objectives
- Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials
- Use websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software to prepare and deliver courses
- Model effective oral and written communication
- Set course expectations, objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weights
- Ensure examinations correspond to course terminal objectives
- Prepare and grade examinations consistently and fairly
- Provide timely feedback to students
- Integrate responsible AI technologies in the classroom
- Recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master's degree required
- 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught

- Degree must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or an equivalent internationally accredited institution
