Virtual Mentor Volunteer (Remote)
TTMES is seeking dedicated and supportive Virtual Mentors to guide and assist youth participants throughout their internship experience. This role focuses on fostering a positive virtual learning environment, providing professional guidance, and supporting participant engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and ongoing support to youth participants in a virtual setting
- Assist participants with task completion, goal setting, and understanding workplace expectations
- Monitor attendance, participation, and overall engagement to ensure program success
- Maintain regular communication with program coordinators and supervisors regarding participant progress
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful virtual environment
- Participate in scheduled check-ins, trainings, and team meetings
- Identify and report any concerns, challenges, or barriers impacting participant performance
- Support program operations through basic documentation and progress tracking
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with youth in a supportive, professional, and structured manner
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage responsibilities independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable collaborating with a diverse team
- Passion for youth development, mentorship, and community impact
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Prior experience in mentoring, teaching, coaching, or leadership roles
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic administrative or reporting experience
