Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Virtual Medical Scribe will assist physicians by documenting patient visits and managing electronic medical records in real time, while gaining valuable clinical experience. Key responsibilities Provide real-time EHR charting support for physicians during patient visits Document clinical information, including histories, physical exams, and lab report analyses Complete the IKS scribe training program and pass all required assessments Required qualifications Recent experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, or Medical Transcriptionist, or completion of relevant courses in Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology Ability to work full, uninterrupted day shifts (8 to 10 hours) during outpatient office hours Typing speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy, with a typing test required Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States Must have a designated HIPAA compliant workspace and a secure, reliable internet connection
