About the Role
We’re hiring Virtual Interview Directors to facilitate compelling on-camera discussions with clients, patients, and industry thought leaders across diverse sectors.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in unscripted TV, casting, or journalism who loves connecting with people, asking great questions, and capturing those unscripted “magic moments.”
You’ll direct remote interviews from your home studio, guiding non-actors to share their real, emotional, and inspiring stories that will later be edited into brand testimonial videos.
Responsibilities
- Direct virtual interviews via Riverside platform.
- Elicit authentic, emotional soundbites from real people.
- Manage the tech side of remote recording while staying fully engaged.
- Coach nervous civilians to relax and open up on camera.
- Identify powerful story moments that highlight transformation.
- Ensure clean recordings, clear audio, and smooth delivery.
- Collaborate with producers and editors to deliver story-ready footage.
Qualifications
- Experience in unscripted television, casting, producing, or talent interviews is a plus.
- Confident communicator who knows how to draw a story out of anyone.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable directing while managing recording platforms.
- Strong listening and storytelling instincts.
- Comfortable working remotely with clear, consistent communication (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
- Passion for authentic human stories.
Compensation & Schedule
- $22/hour
- Minimum 15 hours per week
- Fully remote
- Flexible schedule based on project load
