Seeking an experienced Wholesale DE/VA Underwriter, the fully remote position will manage the underwriting of complex and manual VA loans, requiring strong recent Wholesale/TPO underwriting experience and active FHA DE and VA LAPP/SAR designations. Key responsibilities Underwrite Wholesale/TPO FHA and VA residential mortgage loans, focusing on complex and manual VA underwrites Analyze borrower credit, income, assets, liabilities, and overall loan risk, issuing underwriting decisions in accordance with guidelines Review VA appraisals and issue Notices of Value (NOVs), communicating decisions clearly with operations and sales teams Required qualifications Recent Wholesale/TPO mortgage underwriting experience Active FHA DE designation Active VA LAPP/SAR designation Must have issued a VA Notice of Value (NOV) within the past 11 months Strong recent experience with manual VA underwriting and complex loan scenarios
