Virginia Licensed Respiratory Therapy Adjunct

To support student learning in respiratory therapy, the part-time Virginia Licensed Respiratory Therapy Adjunct will plan, organize, and deliver instruction in various formats, including in-person and online, while providing timely feedback and engaging with students outside of class. Key responsibilities Create a learning environment that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and skills in respiratory therapy Align course activities with student learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to enhance student engagement Deliver instruction and conduct assessments in accordance with college policies, providing meaningful feedback to students Required qualifications Bachelor's or Associate degree in respiratory therapy or a related field from a regionally accredited institution Two or more years of occupational experience in respiratory therapy Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credentials and licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Virginia Ability to communicate effectively in an electronic format Teaching experience at the college level is preferred
