Offering flexible scheduling options, the Virginia Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide compassionate in-home end-of-life care and euthanasia for pets, working full-time or part-time with a focus on meaningful interactions and client support. Key responsibilities: Deliver gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families Manage a self-scheduled workload with a limited number of appointments per day Provide emotional support and guidance to pet owners during difficult times Required qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) Valid U.S. Driver's License Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start date
