To support a collaborative healthcare environment, the full-time remote Virginia Certified Medical Coder will accurately report ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for patient accounts, manage coding queries, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while achieving high accuracy and productivity standards. Key responsibilities Accurately enter and report coding data, maintaining a minimum accuracy rate of 95% Manage coding queries and collaborate with the Coding Manager to address coding denials in a timely manner Meet established productivity standards, coding an average of 2 inpatient accounts per hour Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent CCS or CPC certification Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience in a hospital setting Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state employment requirements
