Video Annotation Specialist, Part-Time AI Video Evaluation - Remote (United States)

United States • Posted 3 days ago
Remote Part Time Software Development

• $8–$10 per hour

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Work on the cutting edge of AI content evaluation, on your own schedule, and get paid for the careful judgment you already bring.

The AI systems everyone talks about are trained and tested by people who review video, audio and language carefully. The teams building them need contributors to annotate clips, judge whether AI-generated descriptions are accurate and appropriate, explain what is unclear or wrong, and flag sensitive content. Consistent human judgment helps improve the quality of these systems. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.

What you'll do

• Apply project guidelines while labeling short video and audio clips

• Review whether AI-generated descriptions are accurate and appropriate

• Identify content that is uncertain, inappropriate, or potentially sensitive

• Point out inaccuracies, ambiguity, and other issues in your review

Why this is worth your time

• Get paid $8–$10 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job

• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most people in video and audio annotation will not have for years

• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping video and audio annotation, and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change

• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute

Who this is for

• Strong written English

• Prior experience with quality assurance, guideline-based evaluation, digital content moderation, content labeling, or video or audio annotation is preferred, not required

• Apply sound judgment when reviewing visuals and audio, maintain strong attention to detail, work independently, adjust to changing guidelines, and keep confidential project information protected

• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.

Pay and details

• $8–$10 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor

• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States

How to apply

1. Apply on OpenTrain (about two minutes; upload your resume).

2. Complete a short application on the hiring platform.

3. If shortlisted, take a short AI interview. Most people hear back within days.
