Overview
This is a great opportunity to manage strategic financial reporting and advise leaders on how to increase profitability and efficiencies. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function partners across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. FP&A teams are responsible for a wide range of activities, including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial and business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g., dashboards), and advising line-of-business leaders on improving profitability and efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis, and distill and refine financial storytelling for business results.
- Oversee processes to deliver month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
- Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
- Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers of results and present commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets.
- Prepare materials for internal leadership meetings and forums (e.g., Business Reviews), as well as external forums (e.g., Investor Day).
- Create ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior management, and help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver financial results.
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible, and improve consistency across processing and reporting to meet business needs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related subject
- 8+ years of work experience in Financial Services
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and Essbase
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines with integrity in handling sensitive information
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions clearly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent, with ability to challenge peers

Additional Information
Final job grade level and corporate title will be determined at the time of offer and may differ from this posting. This role does not provide relocation assistance, so candidates must be local to the work locations listed or be willing to relocate on their own. Candidates must be able to work in our offices full-time (5 days per week). The specific details and timing will be determined and communicated by direct management.
