Vice President, Technical | Aviation Asset Management | Aircraft Leasing

We are supporting an international aviation asset management business in the search for a Vice President, Technical to join its growing team.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to take ownership of a broad range of technical workstreams across portfolio, transaction and asset management activity, while working closely with commercial teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical input across a range of leasing, portfolio and transaction-related activity
• Coordinate aircraft inspections, technical records reviews and compliance requirements across assigned assets
• Manage key technical workstreams associated with aircraft transitions and end-of-lease events
• Partner closely with commercial colleagues, customers and external technical providers to support effective outcomes
• Identify technical risks and developments that may impact aircraft operations, maintenance requirements or portfolio strategy
• Support wider technical projects and initiatives across the platform as required
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key industry partners

Requirements

• Significant technical experience within aircraft leasing or an airline with at least 10 years of relevant sector exposure
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and decision-making skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance technical priorities with broader business objectives
