Vice President Structured Finance

Ledgend Group is hiring for a Vice President or Director of Structured Finance with an independent investment bank in New York.

Our client is a boutique structuring and placement agent with a growing mandate book across infrastructure credit, equipment finance, specialty finance, litigation finance, and other esoteric asset classes. This is a build seat reporting directly to the founder, with real ownership of execution and meaningful upside tied to the deals you close.

What you will do

• Structure asset-backed and esoteric transactions end to end, from initial design through closing
• Build and maintain cash flow and waterfall models, including tranching, credit enhancement, and trigger structures
• Own the rating agency process, including model reviews, methodology discussions, and securing preliminary and final ratings
• Work directly with issuers, sponsors, legal counsel, and investors through documentation and execution
• Support origination and grow into client coverage over time

What we are looking for

• Five or more years in structured finance, securitization, or asset-backed finance
• Hands-on structuring experience across ABS, esoteric, or specialty finance asset classes
• Rating agency fluency and strong cash flow modeling skills
• Series 79 and 63, or the ability to obtain them promptly
• Comfort operating in a small, entrepreneurial environment where you own your work

Compensation is base salary plus a direct share of fee revenue on transactions you execute, with no cap.
