Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Management

  • Develop and execute the O&M strategy to optimize asset performance and lifecycle management.
  • Lead and manage the O&M team, including field technicians, engineers, and support staff.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuous improvement in operations.

Operations & Maintenance Oversight

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure maximum system uptime.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Implement advanced monitoring systems and predictive maintenance techniques to improve asset reliability.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and protocols for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage O&M budgets, including cost forecasting, expenditure control, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships, negotiating contracts to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Technical & Performance Optimization

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement technology upgrades and innovative solutions to enhance solar plant performance.
  • Collaborate with asset management and engineering teams to optimize operational processes.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all solar assets comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Develop and enforce risk management strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Lead root cause analysis for system failures and develop corrective action plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in O&M for utility-scale solar projects or related energy sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams and multi-site operations.
  • Strong knowledge of solar technology, SCADA systems, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Expertise in contract management, financial planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
