This role develops and executes procurement strategies that drive cost competitiveness, supplier innovation, operational resilience, and sustainable value creation across all manufacturing and business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and retain a high-performing procurement organization through effective leadership, coaching, succession planning, and talent developmentEstablish clear organizational goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the procurement functionFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellenceBuild organizational capability through the implementation of industry-leading procurement methodologies, systems, and best practicesChampion employee engagement and leadership development initiatives within the procurement organizationProvide executive oversight for all sourcing activities, including supplier selection, strategic negotiations, contract management, and supplier lifecycle managementDevelop strategic supplier partnerships that improve quality, innovation, cost competitiveness, and service performanceLead supplier performance management programs utilizing scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesDiversify supplier networks while reducing supply chain risk and improving business continuityOversee enterprise contract strategy to ensure favorable commercial terms and regulatory compliancePartner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources, Quality, Legal, and Executive Leadership to align procurement strategies with business prioritiesInfluence enterprise decision-making by providing market intelligence, supplier insights, and strategic sourcing recommendationsCollaborate with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and working capital initiativesSupport new product development, capital investments, and operational initiatives through strategic supplier engagementLead enterprise procurement transformation initiatives focused on process standardization, digital enablement, automation, and procurement technology optimizationEstablish governance frameworks that improve procurement efficiency, transparency, and complianceDrive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce complexity, eliminate waste, and enhance procurement effectivenessIntegrate sustainability, responsible sourcing, supplier diversity, and ESG principles into procurement strategies where applicablePosition procurement as a strategic value-creating function that enables business growth and innovationEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and labor agreementsDevelop enterprise supplier risk management strategies that proactively identify and mitigate operational, financial, geopolitical, and supply risksOversee procurement governance processes, delegation of authority, and contract complianceEnsure ethical sourcing practices and compliance with all applicable procurement regulations and corporate standardsSupport business continuity planning through strategic supplier risk assessments and contingency planningEstablish enterprise procurement KPIs and performance dashboards to measure cost savings, supplier performance, service levels, inventory optimization, and value creationUtilize data analytics and market intelligence to support executive decision-makingProvide regular reporting to executive leadership regarding procurement performance, supplier risks, financial impact, and strategic initiativesBenchmark procurement performance against industry standards and implement improvement opportunitiesAll other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field requiredMinimum of 15 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership experienceMinimum of 8 years leading multi-level procurement organizations in a manufacturing or industrial environmentDemonstrated experience developing enterprise procurement strategies and leading organizational transformationSignificant experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic supplier relationshipsProven experience managing large operating budgets, capital expenditures, and enterprise sourcing initiativesExpert knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, and procurement operationsStrong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, inventory management, and enterprise planningDemonstrated financial acumen, including cost modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and value creation analysisStrong executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skillsAbility to lead organizational change, build cross-functional partnerships, and execute enterprise-wide initiativesExperience implementing procurement technologies, ERP systems, eProcurement platforms, and analytics solutionsStrong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilitiesTravel: 20-30%Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree (MBA or related discipline)Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or APICSWhat
