Vice President (Asset Management)
Summary
This position is based in the Dallas office and is responsible for overseeing and enhancing a U.S. real estate portfolio. Acting as a key liaison between Japanese stakeholders and U.S.-based partners, the role focuses on driving asset performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring alignment across cross-border teams. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach in managing relationships and maximizing investment value.
Essential Duties
- Oversee and manage a diversified real estate portfolio
- Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. development partners and lead negotiations as needed
- Supervise and collaborate with property management firms to enhance operational efficiency and financial outcomes
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities through market research and due diligence
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends and asset performance
- Coordinate closely with headquarters in Japan and prepare regular reports

Qualifications
- Approximately 10+ years of professional experience (real estate experience preferred but not required)
- CPA certification is required; candidates without real estate experience are also considered if CPA-certified
- Fluent Japanese (native-level proficiency)
- Business-level English proficiency with the ability to handle negotiations
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Stable work history with a long-term career mindset
- Understanding of or adaptability to Japanese corporate culture is highly preferred
