Vice President Operations

Relate Search has partnered with a privately held industrial manufacturer in East Texas to add a Vice President of Operations to its executive leadership team. This highly visible role will lead the company’s manufacturing operations and translate business objectives into clear operational priorities. The Vice President of Operations will strengthen processes, develop leaders, and build the infrastructure needed to support continued growth. This is an opportunity for a hands-on executive to make a meaningful impact within an entrepreneurial organization where decisions are made quickly and results are highly visible.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement.
• Develop and execute an operational strategy that supports growth, profitability, customer commitments, and long-term business objectives.
• Establish meaningful KPIs, operating rhythms, and accountability systems to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Develop high-performing leaders and teams while strengthening communication, collaboration, and accountability throughout the organization.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate capacity, capital investments, technology, and process improvements that position the company for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Operations leadership experience within industrial manufacturing, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven success leading multiple operational functions within a small or mid-sized manufacturing organization.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, profitability, quality, delivery, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience building scalable processes, developing leaders, and guiding an organization through growth or operational transformation.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a hands-on, collaborative, and results-oriented leadership style.
