Vice President of Operations – Hospice, Home Health, and Hospice IPU
Excela Care is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee hospice, home health, and inpatient hospice unit (IPU) operations across Georgia and South Carolina. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for an experienced healthcare executive who excels at driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and leading high-performing teams in post-acute care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multi-site operations for hospice, home health, and hospice IPU services
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Lead operational strategy, financial performance, and quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and mentor leadership teams to drive patient-centered care
- Foster relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in hospice, home health, or related healthcare operations
- Proven experience overseeing multi-site or multi-state healthcare operations
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
